Trust & Security

This page is maintained by Dr. Jakob Schneider e.U. to answer common questions about how Modular Match handles data, access, and operations. It is editable project content, not a Lovable or third-party certification.

What we collect

Through the contact forms on /en/demo and /en/manufacturers we collect name, company, email address, and your message. No further fields are required. Full details and legal basis are in the Privacy notice.

How submissions are processed

Incoming forms are validated server-side and forwarded to the internal contact mailbox (schneider_jakob@outlook.com). Send logs are stored in our database so failed deliveries can be retried.

Hosting and subprocessors

The application is hosted on Lovable (Lovable AB, Sweden). Database, auth, and edge hosting run on Lovable's managed backend services (Supabase, Cloudflare). Data processing agreements per Art. 28 GDPR are in place with all subprocessors.

Access and authentication

There are no public user accounts at this time. Access to incoming submissions is restricted to the owner. Database access is protected with row-level security so that only authorised server-side components can read or write.

Encryption

All traffic is served exclusively over HTTPS (TLS). Data in the managed database is encrypted at rest by the backend provider.

Retention and deletion

Submissions are deleted once they have been handled and no legal retention obligation applies. You can request deletion at any time by email.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses only strictly necessary cookies. There is no marketing tracking and no profiling.

Security contact

Please report security concerns or suspected incidents to schneider_jakob@outlook.com. We typically acknowledge reports within a few business days.

Shared responsibility

Modular Match operates the application and the controls described above. The underlying platform infrastructure (hosting, database, auth) is operated by Lovable and its subprocessors. Customers remain responsible for the content they submit through the forms.
